Jewish Leadership In Training (J.L.I.T.) Application 2020-2021
Dear Applicant and Parents:
Congratulations on your decision to be a part of the J.L.I.T. 2020-2021 program. J.L.I.T. (Jewish Leaders In Training) is a premier leadership program of JSU (Jewish Student Union), an organization that facilitates Jewish culture/social clubs and teen programming across the United States.
The success of J.L.I.T. depends on committed students to take on leadership roles. The staff of J.L.I.T. will be supporting you by providing leadership training and opportunities to ensure your success!
Participating in the J.L.I.T. program is a serious commitment. You will be working as a member of a team and will have specific responsibilities suitable for your position. This may include planning programs, creating publications, attending and recruiting for JSU regional events and meetings as well as assisting with administrative tasks. Although school and family responsibilities will remain your first priority, you must be prepared to balance the expectations of your role with the other activities with which you will be involved.
Parents: Your help and support will be needed as your teen applies for J.L.I.T. since the time commitments and expectations will be of high importance.
We are very excited that you are interested in a position for J.L.I.T.!
The J.L.I.T. Team
