Award Nomination: Most-Loved Hotel
The Most-Loved Hotel Award for the Greater Manchester area will be given to a hotel that has consistently provided exceptional service to its guests. The winner should be recognised for their high standards of quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. This award is open to all hotels, from boutique hotels to international chains, that operate within the Greater Manchester area. Hotels that provide unique and personalised customer experiences, distinctive amenities, and world-class quality services are encouraged to apply.

General guidelines for nominations
  • All nominations must promote one or more of our brand values
  • All nominations must be for the Greater Manchester Area
  • Applicants need to write a minimum of 200 words giving an example of how the individual/organisation meets the criteria

Please note: You only need one nomination per organisation or individual in a category - it isn't the amount of nominations they get. We would much prefer one as it makes it more difficult to shortlist otherwise as we can only pick one nomination to submit to the judges. You can however nominate an organisation or individual under more than one category but please write different nominations for each.

Criteria

To provide some guidelines and help around criteria we have created a list of key words the judges will be looking for. You DO NOT need to include all of these in your nomination, the below are just some pointers to help guide with the nomination process.

Customer Feedback: The hotel should have a high rating on various review platforms such as TripAdvisor, Yelp, and Google Reviews. The judges will also consider the quality of feedback given by guests.

Room Service and Facilities: The winner should be a hotel that provides top-class room service and facilities. This includes amenities like free Wi-Fi, swimming pool, high-quality furniture, and comfortable bedding.

Staff Performance: The judges will consider the hotel's responsiveness to customer queries and complaints. The staff should demonstrate a high level of professionalism and provide excellent customer service, even during busy periods.

Accessibility: The winner should be a hotel that is accessible and easy to reach by various transportation modes. Additionally, the hotel should offer convenient shuttle services to and from the airport.

Other Features: Judges will consider the hotel's proximity to tourist attraction sites, the variety of room options available, and other outstanding features like restaurants, bars, spas, and meeting rooms.

Shortlisting

There will be a shortlisting process by a judging panel and a live public vote pre event (50/50 split) for all nominations with a winner for each category announced live on the event evening. The shortlist in each of these categories will be determined and informed by mid-September 2023. If you are shortlisted you will be contacted by a member of the events team to inform you about next steps.
