Youth of Lakewood Congregational Church currently in grades 6-12 are invited to participate in our mini mission trip. This trip will be day camp style with participants going home at the end of Saturday and returning Sunday morning. The trip will be an urban immersion experience in Cleveland, working with Building Hope in the City. Building Hope in the City will guide us through our trip and provide training and work with their partner ministries. We will explore how God is working in the city and how we can join in. Prior to the trip, our group will have some prep meetings to go over information and to do some training. Update, cost will be changing due to the new trip dates being less days. Pricing info will be updated as soon as possible. The following is the previous cost info.  
The total cost per person for this trip is $175 which covers our cost to Building Hope in the City and includes:
-two breakfasts, two lunches and one cross-cultural dinner (Saturday evening)
-Snacks and bottled water throughout the day
-Building Hope trainings, materials and resources
-Project site materials.
A $50 deposit should be mailed or dropped off at church to reserve your spot. If you gave a deposit for the 2020 trip that was cancelled, please contact Rachel for information on transferring that to this trip. We will be evaluating if additional fundraising will be needed for this trip. Registration will close on June 30, 2021. We will follow all recommended covid protocols to keep our church family and community as healthy and safe as possible. We realize that current protocols may or may not change prior to the trip and plan to be flexible in order to make the trip happen safely.
