In our research on disinformation analysis using machine learning, we collected a unique resource counting thousands of reports and texts in Czech, complemented by information about present manipulative techniques. Thanks to proactive journalism students and great support from the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University, this dataset came to life in quality and size far beyond our initial expectations and hopes. As we realize its potential benefits for research in the fields of machine learning and data science, as well as social, journalism, and cognitive sciences, we decided to make them available to the research community free of charge.
> WHAT DOES THE DATA LOOK LIKE?
We'll provide you with nearly 10,000 articles — each represented by its title, body, image URLs, source of origin, and detailed trustworthiness assessment, including high-level and granular paragraph features. You can retrieve data collection, structure, and filtering characteristics from our publication; a complex data structure description will be sent along with the data.
> WHAT CAN I DO WITH IT?
We require you to fill in the application below, including prompts about your project, intended use, and funding. If approved, we'll issue you a license for using and editing our models under our ethical research conditions for non-profitable use cases. If we discover any violations of the terms, we will revoke the license. Contact us at the email below if you wish to use the dataset for profitable projects.
