UBC law students - Nail your summer or articling position like you know what you're doing!
What are your most pressing issues as you look ahead to your summer or articling position?  Students tell me they want to add value to their firm, get hired back, be assured they are good enough, but they don't know what they don't know. Other students describe firms as "opaque" or intimidating.

I've worked in law firm management for nearly 30 years across North America and with dozens of law firms and thousands of lawyers - let me be your guide to ensure your success. I work closely with managing partners, executive committees, partners and senior management teams and will share exactly what they are looking for. Let's demystify the inner workings of a firm so that you can reach the greatest level of success possible.

To ensure I address your specific needs for our session on January 14, 2025, please take five minutes to provide your insight. Nothing is off limits. Thanks in advance!

What other questions do you have about law firms, how they are managed or how to plan now for your future success?
I know you've been planning your legal career for years now. You've been studying hard and investing in your future. Soon you'll be looking ahead at your first job and you might wonder how to get acclimatized or how to become successful. It also took me a while to get comfortable in a law firm as part of the management team. Along the way, after nearly 30 years, I've learned a few things about how students can leap years ahead with a little guidance, some insights and a lot of courage.

Would you let me share some wisdom with you via email? You can opt out anytime.
