This course provides high-level quartet experiences for barbershop singers who can consistently perform at high levels. A limit of 15 on each voice part to ensure balance of singers. The arrangements used are TTBB, but all voices are encouraged to apply.

Successful applicants will receive eight outstanding medalist-level charts with accompanying learning tracks. A $40 fee will cover the licensing cost of the music package. If you've attended a Brigade weekend anywhere in the past several years, you've probably sung some of the songs in this year's package. Because the pandemic disrupted our usual repertoire routine, this time we've selected a collection of attendee favorites.

HUXQB will meet from 8:30–10:30 pm Monday–Thursday evenings. Attendance at each session is expected; please do not skip. The experience will culminate in a fun competition on Thursday night.

The success of the HUXQB event hinges on full preparation by each participant. It is expected that all participants arrive at HU with songs fully memorized and ready to quartet with three similarly prepared singers. The arrangements include a fair degree of challenge. Those arriving less than fully prepared will be asked to withdraw from Brigade participation.

Applications will be reviewed promptly, but several days may be needed to contact references if you are new to brigades. Upon acceptance, you will be sent a link to purchase the ticket to unlock the ability to enroll for Brigade at HU.
