Macomb County Youth Council and County Awards GooseChase
WHO: Macomb County 4-H members age 12 and up (age as of 1/1/2020)

WHAT: Free, self-paced, online scavenger hunt experience for youth to learn about the Macomb County Youth Council and the County Awards Program. Participants will learn what the Youth Council does, how to join, where to find the county awards application, what kind of awards they can apply for, and more! Participants will complete missions on the GooseChase App. All that is needed is a smart phone or tablet with a camera!

WHERE: From the comfort of your own home. This program is completely virtual!

WHEN: Missions can be completed any time between Monday, August 10 at 10:00am and Wednesday, August 12 at 5:00pm. The game code needed to play will be emailed to participants prior to the scheduled start.

BEFORE REGISTERING: Participants ages 13 and up should download the free GooseChase App to their phone or tablet and create an account with a username. 4-H members age 12 are required to have a parent/guardian register them on GooseChase (this is a GooseChase Rule).

PRIZES: Top scorers will receive prizes determined by the Youth Council at their September 16th meeting. Winners will be notified after September 16th and prizes will be mailed to winners.

The last question in the registration asks for participants to complete a survey to provide some demographic information. Although it is completely voluntary, collecting demographic data helps us to show our commitment to serving all segments of our community, and completing it is greatly appreciated!
