You are an important member of our school community. As you know there are various ways that you can be involved with your child’s education; one way is to attend and be an active member of the parent committees, councils, and clubs that we offer. This letter is in regard to establishing our African American Parent Advisory (AAPAC) committee.

AAPAC is a parent advisory committee that is responsible for advising our school’s principal on services and programs and how they meet the needs of African American students. AAPAC is an excellent opportunity for parents to come together to get to know one another, learn about our school’s services, and offer recommendations to the school regarding its programs.

One of the committee's requirements is to take and accept nominations to fill the positions of AAPAC President, Vice President, Secretary, and general member. If you wish to self-nominate or would like to nominate another parent, school staff, or community member, please indicate your decision and the information required in the specified area below.

Your participation is extremely important to your child’s educational development and is needed to support the link between home and school. Please complete this form no later than August 19, 2020, at 11 am.
