[EuropeOnTrack7] Open Call for Hosting Locals 2020
We are looking for enthusiastic antennae who would like to organise one of the stops of Europe on Track in their city. An ideal local event should have workshops, debates, interactive activities and be open both for AEGEE and non-AEGEE members in your city.

“Europe on Track: All Routes lead to Inclusion” is the 7th edition of the project. It will tackle the current challenges that young people in Europe face in regard to gender equality and the mental health.

What are the main benefits of hosting Europe on Track?

+ Your antenna will be part of a very ambitious AEGEE-Europe project that takes place all over the continent!
+ This is a great opportunity to promote your local in the city and establish new cooperations with local authorities or other NGOs.
+ You can activate a lot of your members during the preparation of the event (hosts, tour guides, workshops organizers…)
+ You can have an impact in your local community by creating a space for discussing important issues in your city.
+ Your antenna will get professional, high quality promo materials prepared by ambassadors that you can use later.

The requirements for becoming a hosting local are:
+ Provide accommodation (preferably hosted by AEGEEans and not hostels) and 3 meals per day for 3 ambassadors during their stay.
+ Organise a local event with about 100 participants in total during the stop throughout different activities. We will help you with a complete information pack about the activities after your local has been selected.
+ Organise 1 High school action
+ The ambassadors should be able to stay in your city at least 2 days and 2 nights during mid March/mid April.
+ Preference will be given to locals planning to collaborate with local decision makers (mayors, local politicians etc), high schools, universities or other NGOs

The ambassadors of Europe on Track use interrail passes during their journey to your antenna, but Interrail covers the following countries:
Austria/ Belgium/ Bosnia-Herzegovina/ Bulgaria/ Croatia/ Czech Republic/ Denmark/ Finland/ France/ Germany/ UK/ Greece/ Hungary/ Ireland/ Italy/ Lithuania/ Luxembourg/ Montenegro/ Netherlands/ North Macedonia/ Norway/ Poland/ Portugal/ Romania/ Serbia/ Slovakia/ Slovenia/ Spain/ Sweden/ Switzerland/ Turkey
All locals are welcome to apply as we want to reach all corners of AEGEE network. Our project team is working hard to raise the funds in order to help all the locals (especially outside the EU) to have decent conditions for hosting the ambassadors thus to have equal opportunities for all the locals.

During  the project we will be happy to support you as much as we can with advice and logistics through a responsible project team member for your specific local, so you can organise the best event in your city. In case your local will be selected, we will have a Skype meeting with you to explain everything in detail and help you with any further questions

Make sure to apply until September 25th 23:59h CEST by filling this form.
