Application for the 2019 Advanced Manufacturing Field Trip to Lenze Americas

The Blackstone Valley Education Foundation is sponsoring a field trip to Lenze Americas in Uxbridge, MA. The trip will take place on Monday, October 21, 2019 for up to twenty interested 7th and 8th grade students. Lenze Americas (formerly known as AC Tech) is a USA-based, global manufacturer of electrical and mechanical drives, motion controls and automation technology. They will provide a facility tour, discussions with employees representing several aspects of career fields within advanced manufacturing, and lunch with employees. This field trip will take place within the school day. There is no cost to the students. Students will be expected to make up all work from the classes they will miss in a timely fashion. If you are interested in participating in this field trip, please complete and submit this application no later than Friday, September 27th. You will receive notification and a paper permission slip during the week of 9/30 if you are chosen to participate.
