Rejuvenating and Reinventing the Liberal Arts Institutional Application
Deadline for Submission: March 28, 2022

Applications must be accompanied by a letter of support signed by an official authorized to commit to the following institutional funding and obligations: (1) Transportation to and from the summer seminar for participants, including travel to and from Chicago; (2) An institutional co-funding fee of $2000 paid to ACTC and then dispersed to institutional team members as $1000 stipends; (3) Support for at least one (and ideally both) team member(s) to attend workshops at the 2022 ACTC Conference at Notre Dame April 21-24th and the 2023 ACTC Conference in Dallas, Texas (date TBA); (4) Support for the development and implementation of new or revised courses based on work at the summer seminar. These signed letters of institutional support should be attached to an email sent to charlottethomas@coretexts.org and jscottlee@coretexts.org.

Curricular Development (750 words): Applications should demonstrate a commitment to the development and implementation of at least one core text, liberal arts course in the institution's curriculum or the infusion of an existing course with a proposal to use texts from the "Rejuvenating and Reinventing the Liberal Arts" syllabus. The directors are particularly interested in the potential impact of piloted courses on the development, extension, enrichment, and revision of core courses and programs. *
