If planning to audition for Studio Series ensembles starting in Term 6 2023 (November-December), please submit by Fri Apr 19.

**THE AUDITIONS WILL BE SUNDAY APRIL 21 & WEDNESDAY APRIL 24**

Studio Series is an opportunity for advanced students to work with the same director and ensemble on a specific approach to improvisation and comedy performance. The ensemble and students work together to master a particular form or skill for 3 terms - culminating in a series of graduation performances.
The upcoming auditions are for SKETCH ENSEMBLE w/ Alessandra Vite - which focuses on sketch comedy writing and performance. Students will learn to understand sketch comedy from the inside out - from concept to writing to performance. This Studio Series class is project-oriented, with the goal of staging a full-length sketch comedy revue created by the ensemble at the end of the third level.

If offered placement following auditions, the class schedule is as follows:

TUESDAYS 6pm-9pm (3 Hours)
Term 3: May 7-June 18 (7 Weeks)
Term 4: July 9- August 20 (7 Weeks)
Term 5: September 10-October 22 (7 Weeks) COST: $300+HST per term

These auditions are for the upcoming Sketch Ensemble Studio. The corresponding classes will be on Tuesday evenings from Term 3 (May-June) through Term 5 (September-October). Will you be available for the class meetings? (Or at least a satisfactory amount of them. We expect students to miss a class periodically, but success in the Ensemble means making the classes a priority.) *

Students accepted into a Studio Series ensemble need to commit to all three levels of the course as the work is cumulative. In addition to these in-class hours, students have a few performance showcases each term. Are you able to commit to length and cost of the 3 term length (Early May - Late October? *
