Thank you for your interest in Middletown's EPIC Craft Beer Event and Airshow! This fundraising event will only be possible with the collaboration of hard-working volunteers like yourself. Due to the nature of this event all volunteers must be 21 years of age and older.

Gathering 1500 attendees and over 125 volunteers to celebrate the love of beer in the coolest venue around just sounds like an instant hit! Add a spine-tingling air show, skydivers, aircraft photo ops and history, an awesome DJ and without a doubt the #1 place around to watch a sunset, this event is THE hot ticket of the summer!

WHEN: Saturday, August 24, 2024 TIME: VIP hour: 4-5pm, General admission: 5-9pm, Breakdown and clean up: 9-11pm
WHAT: Craft Beer event in a hangar at Middletown's own airport- Hook Field

GIVE A LITTLE, GET A LITTLE:
To thank you for your dedication to this event, as a volunteer you will receive an event tee-shirt, an event souvenir tasting glass, as well as 2 drink vouchers and a food truck voucher (pre-arranged.) We don't want anyone hungry so if you have a food issue please contact the volunteer lead and they will assist in getting

you something to eat.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATIONAL MEETING:
The event will have a VOLUNTEER MEETING on Monday, August 19th and we ask that EVERY volunteer attend. Proper COMMUNICATION will be instrumental to the success of the event. At this meeting you will receive your volunteer tee-shirt to wear at the event. The meeting will be held at 6:30pm at the Middletown Regional Airport in the JETS hangar. Same hangar as our event!

WHO IS INVOLVED:
This is a joint venture with Jamie Murphy, Phillip Harrison, Mica Jones, Missy Lawwill and the "Dream Team", our friends at Hook Field, Safe Skies Aviation, Team Fastrax, Start Skydiving, Butler County Warbirds, Middletown Aviation Foundation, Butler Tech, Downtown Middletown Inc., and more.

Please fill out the sign-up form below and we'll be in touch soon with more details. We ask that if you are not already on our Facebook volunteer page that you "like" Hops in the Hangar Middletown and we will invite you. THIS WILL ONLY BE USED FOR HOPS INFORMATION. *We can not accept volunteers day of event unless they are on the online list by noon. All Volunteers will be checked at the gate before entering parking lot (having your volunteer shirt on will help make this process faster.) Please have ID with you. Please keep in mind this is an active airport and we have businesses that are operating within the hangar and airport while our event is taking place. Our team of organizers must show flexibility and be accommodating to everyone involved. We appreciate everyone's cooperation and patience that joins the Hops volunteer team.

Friday & Sunday volunteers needed. As many of you know, things change day of event and we might grab you for another position if needed.

8:30pm - 11:00 (Post event break down & clean up)

Friday 5:00pm - 9:00pm (table and tent set up)

Sunday 9:00am - 1:00pm (hangar clean up)

Setup and troubleshooting draft beer systems (as needed, experience required)

Ticket Taker/Scanner/Entry gate 2:30-6:00 (Gate opens at 4 pm for VIP, 5 pm for General)

Setup on Friday before (5:00-9:00)
