In response to the children’s requests to fundraise for those in need in Ukraine, they will be taking part in a sponsored walk at school on Friday 6th May. Each child will walk for approx. 2 hours which will total the 450 hours of walking it would take from Sandroyd to Kiev. (The Walled Garden children will complete a lengthy walk instead).

The funds we raise will go towards the cost of hiring a minibus full of aid items that we sent to the border last term and further funds raised will go to for Siobhan’s Trust (https://siobhanstrust.uk/) who are working with the UN on the Ukrainian side of the Polish/Ukraine border to feed and support refugees as they arrive.
