The Marlboro Central School District is scheduling Spring 2024 Intramurals for students in
Grades 6-8. We will have two forms of Intramural activities for our students to learn more about these sports, enjoy physical activity, and have fun!
What:
Outdoor Intramurals will primarily consist of flag football and soccer. In the event of inclement weather, activities will take place in the gymnasium, if possible.
Indoor Intramurals will focus on wrestling. Students will learn basic moves, rules, scoring, etc.
When:
Approximately March 11 - June 7, 2024; following MMS dismissal.
Students will be able to use the late busses for transportation, if needed.
Format:
Each of the Intramural sessions will take place approximately two times per week throughout the spring. Students can sign up for one or both of the programs as they will not be scheduled on the same days of the week. For example, Outdoor Intramurals may be scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays, in which case Indoor Intramurals will be scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Supervision:
Based on student interest for either or both of these programs, the Marlboro CSD will appoint a NYS Certified Coach to the program(s). To ensure appropriate supervision and safety for all participants, registration may be capped for one or both of the programs.
