The Friends of MCES Scholarship Fund was established in memory of William Sunderland, a parishioner at St. Michael the Archangel Parish. Since its inception, funds continue to be collected from many members of our community and beyond to support Catholic School students in the City of Monroe. This is a need-based scholarship to provide tuition assistance to families who have demonstrated financial need at MCES.
The scholarship is managed by the Catholic Foundation of Michigan.
Scholarships amounts each year determined by the scholarship committee and the MCES administration.  There will be a total scholarship distribution cap each year to retain the base amount of the scholarship fund and allow it to grow for the future.
Applications are due by April 28, 2023 and will be considered by the scholarship committee.
