Join the Marine Mammal Foundation in National Science Week 2020 with our Virtually Marine Mammals online presentation! There is no better way to celebrate the Deep Blue than discovering the wonders of Victoria's marine mammals and what we can all do to make positive difference in our oceans.

In this exciting online presentations, learn about the incredible marine mammal diversity of Victoria, including the newly discovered Burrunan dolphin, migratory whales, and fur seals. Hear from MMF researchers about how we investigate these incredible animals, and what we can all do to make a difference.

This activity is suitable for students of all ages across Australia.

Part 1: Marvellous Marine Mammals
From resident dolphins and seals to migratory whales, Victoria’s coasts have an incredible diversity of marine mammals.

This exciting online presentation highlights the marine mammals that call our local marine environments home, including Burrunan dolphins, short beaked common dolphins, Australian fur seals, humpback whales, and orcas – just to name a few!

See images and videos of these incredible animals in our own watery backyard, and discover how we can all make a difference to keep our local marine environments safe and healthy for these amazing animals.
