𝟭 – The annotation has few redeeming qualities and essentially deviates from the editorial standards.

𝟮 – The annotation is severely lacking in multiple areas — it may contain misspellings, a lack of citations, or incorrect formatting.

𝟯 – The annotation has solid information, but needs to be fleshed out more — it may contain a stretch, very poor grammar, briefly restates the line, or lacks flow in writing.

𝟰 – The annotation is good, but surface level in some aspects — it may contain small errors in writing/phrasing, lack context, or fail to provide deeper insight into the song and its lyrics.

𝟱 – The annotation is flawless. It correctly uses sources, quotes, and various other levels of research to provide immense information.

𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 – choose it if you're voting on your own annotation.

• Half-point scores should be given to annotations that fluctuate between two ratings.
