City of Hamtramck (west) Alley - Holbrook to Caniff                                                                               Joe Louis Greenway Business Interview                            
Introduction: Welcome to the Joe Louis Greenway - Hamtramck Business Interview. This survey is part of the Joe Louis Greenway and City of Hamtramck’s efforts to engage you, a Hamtramck business owner, in the exploration of how to make the Hamtramck segment of the Greenway safe, inviting, and useful for both residents and business owners. The central section of the Hamtramck segment of the Greenway is located in the commercial alley on the west side of Joseph Campau between Holbrook and Caniff. This route will connect to the bike lanes running north and south to the city boundaries along the wider sections of Joseph Campau.

This section of the Greenway is designed as a shared use pathway that will welcome walkers, joggers, cyclists, and more. Cars will still be able to travel through alley, but the focus and priority is enhancing alley functionality and safety elements to make sure that all users are safe, and the businesses along the Greenway are supported.
 
The survey is being used to improve the local traffic operations, traffic calming, and the upcoming Joe Louis Greenway Project.
