Join us for a conversation with NIF's CEO, Daniel Sokatch and Rabbi Felicia Sol about Sokatch’s new book, Can We Talk About Israel: A Guide for the Curious, Confused, and Conflicted. The book explores why so many people feel so strongly about Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, turning a classic Jewish liberal into a conservative, a compassionate intellectual into someone calling for boycotts, and Evangelical Christians into the country’s fiercest supporters. Why does it sometimes seem like Israel is the answer to “what’s wrong with the world” for half of the people in it, and “what’s right with the world” for the other half? Sokatch will work to identify and define the many voices involved in the conflict.
