Indicate why you require greater knowledge of pueblos originarios in the Andes and why you are interested in examining and interrogating more typical approaches to "indigenous studies" in the U.S. Include a discussion on what aspects of Bolivian culture and society you are interested in learning about. You must demonstrate a direct connection between the field study and your current teaching and/or administrative responsibilities.  *
