General Information and Commitment
General Board: Time Commitment is 1 hour every 2 weeks

Outreach Director - We are looking for someone to expand the current work we are doing and reach out to new organizations that could benefit from our services.

Secretary - This individual would be in charge of counting tutor hours and providing them with a count of their hours at the end of the year.

Treasurer - This position is meant for people who can apply for funding opportunities. Should we ever decide to pursue an in-person event, the treasurer would help us apply to funding applications.

Project Board: Time Commitment is 1 hour/month

Penny Lane Centers Director - We are looking for someone to spearhead our collaboration with the Penny Lane Centers, an organization meant to provide foster youth with tutoring services. We also provide their transitional youth (ages 18-24) with STEM workshops to introduce them into the field - therefore, your duties would include recruiting individuals to lead these presentations.

Union Station Homeless Center Director - This director would head our collaboration with the Union Station Homeless Center, where we provide homeless children with tutoring services. This position involves making sure all tutors complete a short live scan process prior to tutoring along with scheduling orientations in collaboration with our Union Station representative.

Crittenton Services for Children and Families -  This director would be heading our collaboration with the Crittenton Services for Children and Families, an organization meant to help undocumented minors and refugee children. You would be spearheading not only a tutoring collaboration initiative, but also potential in-person events where our tutors can meet their tutees and play games at their center.

Low-Income High School Director - This Director would help us find low-income high schools that could benefit from our services and help connect our tutors to them.

San Fernando Valley Refugee Children's Center Director (NEW) - This director would be heading our collaboration with the San Fernando Valley Refugee Children's Center, an organization meant to provide families who are seeking asylum in the United States with resources and relief. You would help recruit tutors and match them with tutees, who will be the children of these refugees. Fluency in Spanish is STRONGLY suggested, as most of these families come from Central and South America.

NOTE: WE HAVE A HIGH NEED FOR PROJECT DIRECTORS! THERE WILL BE A LOT OF FREEDOM TO EXPAND EACH INITIATIVE AND MAKE IT SOMETHING GREAT.
