Dear parent/guardian/student,

An initial $125 deposit for the trip will be due on Friday November 3rd, this will confirm your child’s attendance on the trip this upcoming spring. This year, we only accepting electronic payments.

There will be two additional payments of $325 due on February 2nd and May 3rd.

Additionally, please read and fill out the rest of this form before November 3rd.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships are available by request for those in need of financial assistance. To request a scholarship, please check off that you need financial assistance later in this form. This is the only way to request financial assistance. The total price of the trip will be lower overall, but a $125 deposit is still required to confirm your child’s attendance on the trip. Please reach out to christopher.mcdermott@watertown.k12.ma.us if this is an issue.

DONATIONS:

This year, there is a $50 donation to the 8th Grade End of Year Trip Scholarship and Incidentals Fund, built into the $775 cost of the trip. This fund contributes to financial assistance for families in need, and unforeseen costs that arise throughout the planning of the trip. While we encourage all families to support our WMS community by contributing to the fund, we understand that it may not be financially doable for some. If this is the case, you may opt out of the $50 donation by selecting that option in the financial section of the form. Finally, additional donations beyond the built in $50 are welcome.
