The College of New Jersey Alumni Association is proud to recognize all alumni of The College of New Jersey. We recognize that bonds and connections are formed through sharing similar interests, participating in activities and organizations while attending The College, and through each of the strong academic programs offered by The College. As an Association, it is our hope that these bonds continue to thrive and grow by offering charters that support a variety of chapters that bring alumni together.

Groups that are interested in applying to become a chapter within The College of New Jersey Alumni Association are able to apply for a charter. Applications are reviewed by the Alumni Association Executive Board members and recommendations are then made to the full board. Chapters will be voted upon at the next full Alumni Association Board Meeting following the application submission. These meetings are held four times a year in September, November, April and June. Acceptance or denial of a pending chapter will be communicated to the chapter representative listed in this application.

Application submission dates:
August 15th (for approval at Sept. meeting)
October 15 (for approval at Nov. meeting)
March 15 (for approval at the April meeting)
May 15 (for approval at the June meeting)

Those groups applying for a charter as a chapter should complete the following electronic application to be submitted to the Office of Alumni Engagement. We ask that groups applying for a charter have at least 5 members to be listed below and have already begun to meet or communicate regularly with one another. Chapters that are approved are responsible for selecting a representative. This person will be required to attend at least two Alumni Association chapter meetings each year, hosted by the VP of Chapters (either virtually or in-person).

Affiliating your chapter with the Alumni Association can only allow participation to flourish in the years to come if members choose to be active participants and support the mission and goals of the chapter.
