W.A.T.T. Sharing Feedback

We are trying to figure out how to create an emergency lighting system, to help people see during blackouts. We created a real life model of what this could look like, by using running water in a hose, to push a benkatina turbine, to create electricity, which goes into the circuit, which connects to a battery that powers LED lights that light up bathrooms and kitchens in a house.

We have proven that the benkatina turbine can create energy to power the LED's to allow them to glow, which is 5V/150mA.  We also used a battery to power the LED's through a battery charging circuit board and measured the amount of current in the wires.  We need to test how the turbine moves energy to the battery.  Next step; want to test the turbine to charge the battery to charge the LED's.
