The Asian American High School Conference is an annual academic and leadership conference that brings together high school students from all across Utah. Students are provided with educational resources, including scholarships, admissions, and major exploration workshops, and opportunities to meet and connect with U of U faculty, staff, and students. Students also attend critical learning workshops on Asian and Asian American issues, current events, social justice, and identity.

This year's theme is "IlluminASIAN". The main goals of this conference are to illuminate or highlight Asian American and Pacific Islander voices and achievements as well as encourage high school students to recognize the fire in them, the potential they have as youths in this society.

Keynote Speaker: Jake Fitisemanu Jr.
Jake is an active community advocate with extensive experience in community-based initiatives. Jake was appointed by former President Barack Obama to the President's Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. He currently represents West Valley City as a council member.
