West Valley Arts announces auditions for its upcoming production of 'Sweeney Todd' on Monday, June 7, 2021. Auditions will be held in person from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at West Valley Performing Arts Center (formerly Harman Theatre), 3333 Decker Lake Drive, West Valley City, Utah.

'Sweeney Todd' will run September 9, 2021 through October 2, 2021. Rehearsals begin July 17, 2021. The production will be directed by John Sweeney, with music direction by Anne Puzey and assisted by David Martin, with choreography by Marilyn Montgomery.

Needed are men and women of all ethnicities to play character roles, ages 18 and older. All roles are open, single cast and will be paid.

All those who audition need to prepare 16 bars of a song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided, so please no a cappella or recorded accompaniment.
