The Honors College Community
The Towson University Honors College is a community of scholars dedicated to academic success, personal and professional development, civic responsibility, and global engagement. All members of the Honors College, including students, faculty, and staff, are encouraged to abide by the core principles of the Honors College community.

Honors Expectations
Students admitted to the Honors College for the spring 2020 term are required to take at least one Honors course to confirm their acceptance into the Honors College.

In order to remain in good standing in the Honors College, students must:
*maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 in all classes taken at Towson University
*maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in all courses taken to fulfill Honors College requirements
*make satisfactory progress in successfully completing the Honors College curriculum, generally defined as completing at least two Honors courses in each full academic year.

Failure to complete the requirements to remain in good standing may result in a student being placed on a probationary status and potential dismissal from the Honors College.

New Student Orientation *
The Honors New Student Orientation will take place on Wednesday, January 29 from 6-8 pm in the 7800 York Road building, room 131. Please indicate whether you will be able to attend. Students unable to attend are required to participate in a make-up orientation at a later date, to be determined.
