PILLOW TALK - A Mango a Day Keeps the Doctor Away: Navi-GAY-ting Health(care)
👉 When: Tuesday, June 28th, 2022
👉 Time: 6-8pm EST
👉 Location: Online (Zoom)

What does it mean to be 'healthy' as a queer Asian womxn? How do we navigate a healthcare system that doesn't represent us? Want to sit down and rant about bad healthcare experiences and share tips on what to do in the future? Come join us on Tues June 28th from 6-8pm to absorb in some good vibes and lots of laughter while we talk about what health and happiness means to us!

No materials will be required, other than you, of course!

At least ten participants will be compensated for their time with $15 food gift cards.

Part of ACAS' Pillow Talk workshop series: by and for 18+ East & Southeast Asian folks of Marginalized Genders (cis & trans womxn as well as non-binary folks) to explore relationships to their bodies, intimacy, health, & more. More information on acas.org.  Much thanks to ViiV Healthcare for helping us put this on!

CW: Frank discussions of sex and sexuality throughout the workshop, as well as discussions of medical trauma, histories, and injustice.

Example: she/her, they/them, xe/xir, ze/hir, she/they, they/she, etc.
What is the best way to contact you? *
While you must provide at least one way to contact you, we'd prefer 2-3 avenues of contact if you are comfortable with providing them.  If you provide an email, please add "youth@acas.org" as a contact, as our emails often go to spam/junk.  NOTE: Participants need to provide an email in order to receive a thank-you gift card.

If you feel comfortable disclosing other information, please provide whatever you can of the following: age, location (within or outside of Toronto and the surrounding area), any other demographic information.
This helps us report back to our funders.  We can not only reassure them that we're reaching the right audience, but knowing our demographic helps us plan future sessions.  As a reminder, all participants must be 18+.
Do you have any accessibility needs that we need to know about?
While we can't guarantee anything, we'll do our best to make sure that you can attend with ease and comfort!
We may record or screenshot certain workshops for future Pillow Talk promotion.  Do you agree to voluntarily have photographs, audio, and/or videos taken of you by ACAS for purposes of documentation and/or use in promotional materials? *
To be clear, only the staff are allowed to record or take pictures.  As a participant, please DO NOT record or screenshot the workshops taking place.  Regardless, everyone participating will be warned before a video, screenshot, or audio recording is taken.
