Summer 2019 Strength-Speed-Agility
The SPHS Summer Strength & Conditioning Program is coordinated by Doug Boyer,  High School Strength and Conditioning Coach.   Coach Boyer is a teacher in the district and runs the high school strength program.
 
Core Purpose: To prepare student-athletes to be Champions.
Student-athletes enrolled in the St. Peter Summer Strength, Speed and Agility Program will be challenged to develop physically and mentally. Training will emphasize safety and will focus on seven Pillars:

Strength  / Speed Mechanics / Agility Work / Flexibility / Proper Nutrition / Recovery / Character & Leadership

The SPHS weight room is open to all student-athletes, free of charge during the M/W/F 4:30-5:45pm sessions. Coach Boyer will provide supervision for the safety of those working out.  No workout program or agility sessions will be provided.

Those students who enroll in the St. Peter Summer Strength, Speed and Agility Program and pay the $50 fee will be able to lift at any session, be able to participate in the speed and agility workouts and receive a Sport specific strength plan that can / will be modified by Coach Boyer based on needs through the summer.  

Athletes will be led through each session with a daily goal of meeting the seven pillars of the program in a healthy and safe environment.

START DATE:  June 3rd END DATE:  August 9th
CLOSED:  July 1st - July 5th (per MSHSL no contact period)

Cost: $50 payable to St. Peter High School. Scholarships are available to help cover the fee. Speak with Jordan Paula at the high school or Steve Alger at the middle school.
