2020 Media Civics Lab by Break the Fake Movement
The Media Civics Lab is a hyper-localized, multi-stakeholder approach to equipping Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials with crucial fact-checking and media literacy and information skills and resources so they can be good ambassadors online and create a localized media education training in their respective communities.

The training is fully online and will run from the last week of October to the first week of December. Participants may apply for a small grant at the end of the program.

Qualification:

- Must be duly elected SK official OR leader in his or her own community OR someone who holds a position in an organization
- Committed to bringing the knowledge from Media Civics Lab to his/her locality
- Can 100% commit to participating in the program from last week of October to 1st week of December
- Highly encouraged but not required: Currently working/wishes to work on a program focused on Media Literacy with his/her locality
