Are you interested in joining a national network focusing on ensuring equity and excellence in teaching and learning through the empowerment of accomplished, minoritized educators and the students they teach? Join the National Board Network of Accomplished Minority Educators (NBNAME)!
NBNAME is committed to advancing learning, deepening professional knowledge, and leading student learning to impact student achievement; through reflective and collaborative learning communities.
The National Board Network of Accomplished Minoritized Educators is presently designing and developing National Board precandidacy support, professional learning opportunities framed within the Accomplished Teaching Body of Knowledge (BoK: Five Core Propositions, the Architecture of Accomplished Teaching, and the National Board Standards), National Board candidate recruitment and support for teachers of color.
Additionally NAME is designing advocacy and policy training for NBCTs, NBCT Day on the Hill leadership service , professional learning for teacher leaders, and work to develop local, state, and national teacher leadership opportunities.
