PROGRRAM LENGTHS
Full Internships begin in late May to late June, depending on position. Festival only internships are a shorter, three week program, beginning Monday, July 20. All interns are required to work through the day of the intern wrap-up and party, a week after the festival ends.

HOURS
Interns work 40 hours a week, 9 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday during festival preparations. Some evening hours are required for festival manager meetings, so daytime schedules are changed accordingly. As the festival approaches, schedules are sometimes further adjusted to meet festival needs. During the actual festival, shift times vary by position. We believe in a happy medium between working the festival, and enjoying the festival. We’ll take care of you, but flexibility on your part is required as well.

SCHEDULE
Make no mistake,  interns work hard before, during, and after the festival. The work doesn’t end when the festival begins! It’s not about watching movies and attending parties while on duty. That being said, as an invaluable part of the festival and as the volunteer that you are, you will enjoy all the great volunteer perks, including the volunteer screening, volunteer party, and intern party. And we’ll make sure you get to enjoy the magic of the festival that you helped to create along with some exclusive intern-only experiences.
