Legislative Session Transportation Funding Assistance for Queer, Trans, and other Marginalized Community Members
This mutual aid project is a collaboration between organizer Ash in West Virginia and the Women's Health Center of West Virginia. Funds raised will be for transportation assistance, childcare, or lodging to Queer, Trans, and other marginalized folks across the state to get to the Capitol for protests, public hearings, testifying, lobbying, etc. The WHCWV has pledged $1,000 and all funds from Ash in West Virginia's Bonfire t-shirt sale will be going directly into this mutual aid fund.

These funds are only available for Queer, trans, and other marginalized community members in the state of West Virginia to offset the costs of traveling to the Capitol. This program will close at the end of the legislative session or when funds are depleted. Should extra funding be leftover at the end of the legislative session, funds will be donated back to the WHCWV.

In order to receive funding, please fill out the brief form below and allow for a 1-2 business day response time.
