2022-2023 Brophy PTO Volunteer Opportunities
The Brophy PTO is excited to be sponsoring several fundraisers and events this school year. These are aimed to support enrichment programs for our students, provide new school assets and show our teachers support and appreciation.

The list of events we would like to hold this year can be found below. Please take some time to look over them and decide if there are any you are able to help support. These events rely on support from our school's community to make them successful. Even an hour of your time can make a big difference, and we have tasks that can be performed in the evenings, during the day, or that don't even involve coming to school at all. Just let us know which programs, activities or events interest you and when you might be free to help. Check off as many items as you like.

Unfortunately events that are not well supported will need to be postponed or canceled.

Picture Day
Picture Day will be held on Friday, September 16th during school hours. We need volunteers the day of the event to help make the day run smoothly!

Freaky Friday Event:
Freaky Friday is our fall event held at Brophy on Friday, October 28th from 6:30 to 8:00pm. This is a fun fall event with games, photo ops, crafts and fun!
Volunteers are needed to help on the day of the event as well as to collect donations for the event.
Have a special skill that might help with the event (ie DJ or face painting)? Let us know!
Election Day Bake Sale
Looking for volunteers who are interested in organizing a bake sale during the election Tuesday, November 8th.
Multicultural Fair:
We are so excited to be bringing back this event on Saturday, December 3rd from 1:00 to 3:00.

We are looking for families to host a table representing their country of your family’s origin. Bring toys, handicrafts, and pictures for display. Be creative. Wear or display traditional clothing representing your country. Music, handcrafts, and food are always crowd pleasers.

We would also like to have Brophy families give a performance representing their culture. If you are interested, please let us know. Auditions may be requested.

We would also love to have volunteers help with organizing this event, and helping to set up and clean up the day of the event.
Sweetheart Dance
Looking for a volunteer to help organize this event on Friday, February 10th from 6:30-8:00, as well as day of volunteers!

Variety Show
We are excited to bring this event back in March. We need volunteers to help organize this event and make it a success!
Science Fair
Want to share your love of science with Brophy students? This event has not run for a few years and will need an event chair to organize. 
We need coaches for each grade level to do organize a science project with students from that grade.
Family Events
Run events such as Bingo Night, Movie Night or Family Picnics. These are not fundraiser events, just events to build community!

Assist in day of activities such as set-up and clean-up. These events will be in December and May.

Fundraising
Assist with various PTO fundraisers. Put your thinking caps on because we need creative thinkers to come up with and organize new fundraiser initiatives during and after school hours.

Ultimate Bulldog Challenge
This event was such a fun and successful fundraiser, we'd love to bring it back this year.
Yearbook
Photographers of all levels welcome! Assist with the creation of the annual yearbook.
Misc Help:
Want to volunteer, but aren't sure where, when or how much time you'll have? Could you do a quick drop off of materials, help stuff mailboxes? Any little bit helps, and we will reach out to you when we need assistance.
