The purpose of the focus group is to discuss issues and share personal experiences within the food industry and ideate possible program ideas to co-create an equitable food industry. Our goal is to work with and not for the people most affected.

A Bit of Background

Over the past year, we’ve engaged in a listening survey to hear from food workers and stakeholders about their experiences in the food industry. From there, we identified three major themes - hierarchy, patriarchy, and access. In the focus group, we will be discussing these themes in more detail and how they relate to your experience.
