Gender Affirming Product Program Interest Form
As of May 1st, 2024, GAPP is not accepting new applications because we have run out of funds for the quarter or are in between quarters. Applications will reopen on the first day of Fall quarter (9/26/2024). If you are interested in other gender-affirming product resources or need help strategizing other ways to acquire gender-affirming products, please reach out to the Health Equity Advocate at equity@sa.ucsb.edu

Program description:

"UCSB's Gender Affirming Product Program (GAPP) is a 5-year program funded by the Student Fee Advisory Committee that aims to provide free gender-affirming products for trans*, nonbinary, gender non-conforming, and gender questioning students who may have difficulty accessing supplies on their own.

If you have encountered obstacles (finances, logistics, safety, etc.) that have prevented you from acquiring safe and effective gender-affirming items, please fill out this interest form to the best of your ability. Our Health Equity Advocate will review your application and assess which of our programs best suits your needs. If GAPP is a good fit for you, the Health Equity Advocate will reach out to schedule a one-on-one meeting.

Program guidelines:
-Recipients must be active UCSB students (grad or undergrad).
-Students can only apply on their own behalf.
-Students can only apply and receive a product from GAPP once per academic year.
-Students must meet with the Health Equity Advocate (in person or zoom) before item can be
purchased.
-Products must be purchased by a UCSB staff member, no money will be given directly to the student.
-The student must pick up their product from the Student Resource Building once it has arrived.
-Applications will open at the start of each quarter (fall, winter, and spring) and will close once the funds are used up for that quarter."
