The NCJLA Bylaws require each NCJLA club to operate in a defined area.
When clubs are accepted into the league they may define their area as a school district, specific feeder schools, zip codes, cities or county lines.
NCJLA clubs agree to operate in their defined area and should not recruit or accept players from outside that area to fill teams. It is important that families and coaches are informed well in advance about the NCJLA Play and Coach Out Of Area timeline and instructions for requesting to play in the area of a club that does not correspond to their residential address.
The process for changing clubs or requesting to play out of area is outlined in the operations guide: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Y40BC-v-9zxB94bUTYqidNlUiOFz7L7V/edit
Movement between clubs should be addressed at the club level before escalating to the NCJLA Board.
