ACCREDITATION CONDITIONS
All applicants for journalistic accreditation for the Grape festival 2023 shall apply for it by filling in and sending the accreditation form, no later than July 31, 2024 (inclusive). We will inform applicants about the granting/non-granting of accreditation to the provided contact e-mail by July 31, 2024. General accreditation conditions
We grant accreditations for the festival to media that regularly and actively inform about the festival. The granting of accreditation is not claimable and is fully within the competence of the organizer.

The most common reasons for not granting accreditation are the following:
  • failure to meet specific accreditation conditions (see below)
  • late submission of the accreditation form (after 31 July 2024)
  • low viewership of the medium and/or low affinity of the medium to the target groups of the festival
  • capacity reasons
When assessing applications for accreditation, we also take into account past experiences with the media and its representatives. We recommend accredited media to send all published outputs from the festival (web links, broadcast recordings, prints) to the organizer (at ela@grapefestival.sk), ideally within 24 hours of publication. Failure to fulfill the condition may lead to not being granted accreditation in the following year of the festival. Failure to publish any output from the festival or failure to appear for a prearranged interview with artists/organizers during the festival is an automatic reason for not granting accreditation the following year.

Specific accreditation conditions
The Internet media will publish at least three articles on the current year of the festival for the positive processing of the accreditation application. In the event that the media publishes all articles/promo material at once during the week and not continuously over a longer period, we will consider this condition not fulfilled. Media must also share published articles on social networks. Accreditation will also be assessed based on website traffic and social media activity.

The radio and television media will support the festival programmatically, by broadcasting informational messages about the festival and/or by broadcasting an interview with the festival organizers, for the positive processing of the accreditation request. When assessing accreditation, we also take into account outputs from the previous year (reports, interviews, etc.). We do not grant accreditations to small internet/regional radio stations and TV stations.

3. PUBLISHED PR OUTPUTS ABOUT GRAPE 2024
List published outputs about Grape 2024, i.e. published press releases, author's articles, news, interviews with organizers, etc. You can list published outputs in the form of an http link, if the given output is published and available online, or a link to an online repository, if the output is not publicly available online (e.g. a scan of an article published in print, an audio file, etc.). You can also list published outputs to other, non-festival activities of Agency Grape. Regular information about our activities increases the chances of being granted accreditation for the festival.

4. PLANNED EXITS FROM GRAPE 2023
List what outputs you plan to publish from the Grape 2024 festival, ideally also with an approximate time schedule (e.g. interview, reportage, photo report, etc., during the festival, immediately after the festival, with a longer time interval)

If you are interested in interviewing the performers, list them and also the form in which the interviews will be published (written text, audio/video recording, combination). Performers' interviews with the media are usually subject to the approval of their management and must therefore be reported well in advance. We will not accept additional requests after the accreditation has been concluded. We will keep you informed about the status of interview requests at the provided contact email.

5. ACCREDITED PERSONS
Provide a complete list of persons for whom you are requesting accreditation. It is necessary to enter the name, surname and telephone contact so that we can contact the mentioned persons if necessary. State the function that person will hold in your team. Also indicate whether you will need a parking space and assign the information to the person who will be responsible for the vehicle. The number of parking spaces we can provide depends on the number of accredited persons due to capacity reasons (max. one parking space for every 4 persons). Please note that accredited persons must present an identification document (ID, passport or other) when entering the festival. After approval of the accreditation, the list will be able to be modified, but no later than 31 July 2024
