Certificate of Insurance (COI)
With respect to liability arising out of the activities of ALBERTA TEAM HANDBALL FEDERATION (ATHF)
Clubs are frequently asked to provide a Certificate of Insurance to municipalities, school boards, privately owned facilities, etc. when signing rental agreements. Comprehensive general liability insurance on an occurrence basis is something Alberta Team Handball Federation can provide to registered clubs and registered members in good standing. Our limits of liability coverage for commercial general liability - bodily injury and property damage liability - the amount of insurance limit is $5,000,000. Most facilities ask for a minimum of Two Million inclusive limits of liability. Our limit for commercial general liability is Five Million.
To add facility, municipality or school board as additional insured on your club's certificate of insurance, please submit your request using this form. Your request will then automatically submit to Mike, ATHF Office who will then forward your request to our Insurance Department to issue your Certificate. Processing time is typically 2-3 business days.
Alberta Team Handball Federation requires all clubs to register with ATHF prior to issuing Certificates of Insurance. We ask that the Club Main Contact of your club complete the online Club President Registration form.

Our Insurance Certificate dates are from January 15th to JANUARY 14TH --- 1 Year.
Returning clubs in good standing with ATHF may request renewal certificates starting January 10th
