THANK YOU for your interest in signing up to volunteer with The South-Asian Women's Alliance of Nevada (SWAN). We have a number of volunteer opportunities for you to choose from that would give you an opportunity to learn about SWAN programs as well as to participate in community volunteer opportunities hosted by other nonprofits. The South-Asian diaspora is consistent of the following communities:
Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Indo-Caribbean and other descendants of South-Asia.
SWAN's mission is to bridge the gap between the South-Asian communities and mainstream services and resources that exist within Nevada.
SWAN is happy to provide you with volunteer hours if you need them for school or any other volunteer-related efforts. Please make sure to follow up via email at info.swan.nv@gmail.com if you need us to signoff on anything.

Current Volunteer Opportunities:
1) Tuesday November 14, 2023: South-Asian Food Distribution Pre-Event Food Box Packing. Volunteers are needed to help package food items into boxes. Address: 4460 S. Arville St, Las Vegas, NV, 89103
2) Saturday, November 18th, 2023: South-Asian Food Distribution event will take place to provide food boxes to low income families in need. Volunteers will help with check in, guiding traffic and placing food boxes into clients cars. Address: 4460 S. Arville St, Las Vegas, NV, 89103
