Queer Songwriter Circle: July - December 2021

In this participatory online workshop group you will bring songs you're working on and give and receive constructive critique in a supportive queer setting. Through taking part in this circle you will build community with other songwriters and sharpen your ability to edit your own songs. Each person will have a chance to share one song at every session. You'll also get a prompt to get your writing started for next time.

We will meet two times every month. You have the option of signing up for:

MONDAYS (once a month)
5:30 - 8 pm pacific / 8:30 - 11 pm eastern
July 26th, August 23rd, September 27th, October 25th, November 22nd, December 13th

SUNDAYS (once a month) -- **This session is now FULL.**
2:30 - 5 pm pacific / 5:30 - 8 pm eastern
July 11th, August 8th, September 12th, October 10th, November 7th, December 5th

The cost of this circle is on a sliding scale. The Payer Forward level is the true cost of the class. If you choose a rate below that tier, you are receiving a discount. If you choose a rate above that tier, you are helping make this circle accessible for lower income participants. Please read through the levels below and choose the rate that best reflects your situation: *

Redistributor: $350 for once/mo, $675 for twice/mo (Unlimited Spots) - Consider paying at this level if one or more of the following apply: You are comfortably able to meet your basic needs, own a newer car and/or a home or rent a higher end property, have access to financial savings, have reliable work or do not need to work to meet your needs, have investments, can afford to travel every year, have expendable income

Payer Forward: $310 for once/mo, $600 for twice/mo (Unlimited Spots) - Consider paying at this level if one or more of the following apply: you sometimes stress about meeting basic needs but still regularly achieve them, are able to buy some new items and thrift others, can travel every couple/few years without burden, have some debt but it does not prevent access to basic needs/wants

Sustainer: $260 for once/mo, $500 for twice/mo (2 Spots) - Consider paying at this level if one or more of the following apply: have very limited expendable income, are unemployed or have unstable employment but are still able to meet basic needs, have little or no access to savings or financial support from family, have higher debt that requires some sacrifices on needs/wants

Pay-What-You-Can: $80 - $175 for once/mo, $150 - $335 for twice/mo (1 Spot) - Pay-what-you-can spots are for people for whom paying more would be a significant hardship. Priority is given to folks who identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color, trans women and trans femmes, folks raised working class or poor, and people with disabilities.
