One of the most popular requests was pre-supports for minis whenever possible. We've already done this for many minis for FDM printing, which will be included as part of your pledge. The same goes for supportless minis.

While resin supports are a lot more tricky to do properly, it is possible to pre-support the models that need supports for resin printers - but it takes significantly longer and requires more skill to do correctly. Since this has been highly requested, we're considering including add-ons for the core set and for the stretch goals for pre-supported models for RESIN printing that are optimized for minimal scarring, not auto-generated (hand placed supports), and tested before hand.

So, why not include my own resin files? Well, I don't always follow best practices, and my standards of resin supports are a lot more lenient than some folks. These files would be optimized to minimize scarring, and would all be tested before hand to ensure that they work as well, and have a reduced chance of failure, and would be held to a higher standard as a paid product.

The big one here: We'll make sure every island was supported beforehand. If you're familiar with resin printing, you know how long supporting a model the proper way can take, and this is the only reason it would be a paid add-on: to compensate for the time investment involved.

This doesn't mean perfect printing every time, but this would really improve the experience of a lot of folks 3D printing in resin, and save a lot of time, so we wanted to know if there would be interest in this.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE HERE: Pre-supported FDM models and fully supportless models will still be included with your pledge, and this is only for RESIN pre-supported models in addition to the regular files.
