2022-2023 Nebraska Blues Challenge Entry Form

Please complete the following form completely to enter the 2022-2023 Nebraska Blues Challenge. Depending on the number of acts entering the competition, acts will compete on one, and possibly two, Sunday afternoons during late October/early November. Location, dates and performance times will be announced soon after the deadline to enter (September 30, 2022). A confirmation email with the rules will be sent to you upon receipt of your entry. Please be prepared to send a band or solo/duo biography and high quality photo as a .jpg of your act by the entry deadline. (See specific details for band/act bios and photos in body of registration.) Nebraska Blues Challenge rules may also be requested by emailing info@omahablues.com.

Indicate which Act Member(s) are Blues Society of Omaha Members. Per Nebraska Blues Challenge Rules, at least one member must be a current dues-paying member of the BSO. Join BSO by clicking here. *

Entries must be accompanied by a band or solo/duo act biography and high quality photo sent as a .jpg. Photos must be at least 900 x 600 pixels (horizontal or vertical) and be 300 dpi for both Nebraska Blues Challenge and International Blues Challenge registrations. Band/act bios are limited to 600 characters (not words) counting spaces. This bio will also be used, if needed, in the official program for the Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge.

International Blues Challenge Requirements *

By checking this box, I agree that if I and my band/act member(s) win the Nebraska Blues Challenge we will represent the Blues Society of Omaha at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN to be held Jan. 24-28, 2023. Any band/act member substitution due to an emergency or unavoidable schedule conflict must be approved by the Blues Society of Omaha by 12/31/22. After that date, emergencies (medical/family, etc.) impacting any band/act member's ability to participate in the International Blues Challenge should be communicated to the Blues Society of Omaha as soon as known. Per the Blues Foundation's rules, no more than one member of any band may be replaced.
