Ralph Bocchino Turf Field Rules
As we open the Ralph Bocchino Turf Field, it is important that we make you aware of the rules Hunter has provided for use of the new synthetic turf field.  Hunter expects all teams to abide by the following rules at all times:
1- Only coaches, players, game officials, and field monitors are allowed on the field.  All parents must sit on the bleachers or grass area surrounding the field.
2- No metal cleats or spikes. Plastic or rubber cleats must be no longer than 3⁄4” (standard cleat size). All footwear must be clean of mud and dirt prior to entering the field.  Coaches are responsible for checking all player’s cleats or spikes.
3- Water Only!!! No other drinks allowed (i.e. no Gatorade, sports drinks, fruit punch, etc.). Water bottles are ok, but must be thrown in the trash after use.
4- Glass of any type is prohibited.
5- Absolutely no food allowed on the turf (i.e. no sunflower seeds, no gum, no peanuts, etc.). People eating food should not enter the turf fields.
6- Sharp objects such as tent poles and corner flag stakes that can penetrate the turf are not permitted.  Chairs and team benches must have a rubber footings so the metal doesn’t penetrate the turf.
7- Goals cannot be dragged on the field.  They must be moved using the wheels or carried.  Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to move the goals.
8- No pets are allowed on the property.
9- Entrance path is only to be used by emergency vehicles.  No vehicles are allowed on the grass, pathways, or playing fields.
10- No smoking, vaping, or use of smokeless tobacco of any kind. Also alcohol is strictly prohibited.
11- Portable heaters are not permitted.
12- All trash must be put into trash receptacles and not left on the field.
13- The field may not be sub-rented.
Failure to follow these rules will result in turf field access being revoked and the renter will be responsible for the cost of damages and unable to apply for rental for a period of no less than one year.  Hunter reserves the right to retain part or all of the deposit if the policies are not followed.  Hunter is not responsible for any lost, left, or stolen items.  Renters are responsible for obtaining and paying for Porta Johns needed for their event.  The field is constantly monitored by closed circuit cameras, but to report turf violations, please contact Bill Manchester at 215-919-7253 or Tommy Brauer at 215-268-8010.  In case of emergency, call 911.
14. If people are using the field during your permitted time, please show them the permit. If they won't leave, do not engage them. Simply step away and call 911 and report you have the permit for the field and squatters are refusing to leave. The police will arrive and handle the situation.
