Hyd Durga Puja 23-Sindoor Khela 2
Registration Form

Sindoor Khela is a Hindu tradition that is celebrated on the tenth day of Navratri, also known as Vijayadashami or Dussehra. The festival marks the end of Durga Puja, a nine-day festival dedicated to the worship of the Hindu goddess Durga.

In Sindoor Khela, married women gather at Durga Puja pandals to apply vermilion (sindoor) to the foreheads of each other. Sindoor is a red powder that is considered a symbol of marriage and fertility. It is believed that applying sindoor to the forehead of a married woman will bring her good luck and prosperity.

Sindoor Khela is also a time for women to come together and celebrate their shared faith and culture. It is a time for laughter, music, and dancing.
