Clae here. Thank you for taking your time for this survey.
I'm currently developing
Castelet, a visual novel framework for Godot Engine. Currently, this project serves as personal project to study how Godot Engine works (i.e. Godot 4.x) and how visual novel-style presentation can be implemented using the engine. However, I wish to develop it further, in hope that it can be fully-functional to be used by others as well. This framework will be available for free under MIT license.
I made this survey as means to identify what features I should add to the framework, as well as to determine the development priority. Do note that this framework is not meant to compete with existing frameworks and/or engines -- this is a hobby project first and foremost, and as such development speed will be inconsistent depending on my main job's workload. I simply like to test out new ideas -- and often because there are too many ideas, I have trouble sorting out where I should start.
Current development roadmap for Castelet can be viewed in this
Trello board. This board is open for public viewing. Feel free to suggest ideas, although I may not immediately accept it depending on the complexity of the implementation.
Thank you!
