We have 3 levels of orchestra at Wando: Concert, Chamber, and Honors Orchestra.

Most freshmen (95%) take Concert Orchestra, as it is usually the right level and works well with a freshman schedule.

There is NOT an audition to enroll in Concert Orchestra as long as you are enrolled in your 8th grade strings class!

If you want to audition for Chamber or Honors Orchestra as a freshman, auditions will be in May.

If you plan to audition, I ask that you still register for Concert Orchestra when the counselors come to your school and I can adjust your schedule later if you place in a different ensemble.
