Rhode Island Objects! We Object! No New Power Plant
Join us as we take action on May 30th at 6pm at the Rhode Island State House to show our united opposition to the fossil fuel power plant that Invenergy has proposed for Burrillville. With the Energy Facility Siting Board expected to make a decision this Summer on the main permit for the power plant, the time to take action is now!

31 cities and towns in Rhode Island have passed resolutions opposing the power plant, but Governor Gina Raimondo has failed to listen to her constituents. The Governor needs to speak out against the power plant NOW to show that she cares about the climate, our environment, wildlife and the health of future generations.
