Marketer Milk, an established marketing blog, newsletter, and SEO agency dedicated to aiding marketers in the tech industry and helping SaaS companies grow, is seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Content Writer to join our team. As a Freelance Content Writer, you will play a crucial role in implementing our clients' content strategy and boosting their online presence.
Responsibilities:
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
- Write clear, compelling copy for various mediums (e.g., blog posts, newsletters, website copy, case studies, white papers)
- Conduct keyword research and utilize SEO best practices to generate traffic to our client's website
- Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, blogs, and white papers
- Actively cooperate with SEO and marketing team
- Edit and proofread content produced by other members of the team
- Analyze content marketing metrics and make changes as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content ideas
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role within the tech industry
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications and understanding of SEO
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
- Basic understanding of marketing concepts and principles
- Experience with popular content management systems
- BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field is a plus
